I wanted toparies, but wouldn't pay for mature trees so I went to a real nursey by our house and paid $10 each for these blue spruce trees. Then aremed with my downloaded instructions from the internet and e-how to, I began cutting. I think they turned out pretty well for my first attempt. Now they are in nice pots with some flowers and ivy at the base, only one has made it to the front of the house. Hopefully this weekend I will be able to move the second one out these. I am quite happy with my attempt. They have also grown enough that I need to trim them just a little to start them getting a nice full shape.
