That was the last we saw of him for DAYS unless we went to his room.
After 20 years of trying to have his tonsils removed, the big day finally arrived. He had been told that his recovery time would be around 2 - 3 weeks. I thought they were kidding. Seriously, recovery time is 2-3 weeks.
